Following the conclusion of his Mafiathon 3 subathon on September 30, 2025, Twitch megastar Kai Cenat has taken an extended break from streaming. Known for being the first streamer to achieve 20 million followers, Cenat has largely withdrawn from the online spotlight, enjoying personal time, including a vacation in Switzerland.
Cenat provided a cryptic update via his KAI MAFIA X community in early November, suggesting a return around 2026. This announcement has led to divided opinions among his followers, with some eagerly awaiting his return and others expressing concern over the lack of direct communication.
Despite his current hiatus, Cenat's impact on the streaming world remains significant, highlighted by his nomination for Streamer of the Year at the upcoming 2025 Streamer Awards. His brother, Kaleel, revealed that the intense subathon took a personal toll, affecting Cenat's sense of normalcy off-stream.
