Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta has announced that the script for 'Kaabil 2' is complete, with final approval pending from Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan. Gupta expressed his readiness to move forward, stating the sequel aims to be significantly more intense and impactful than the 2017 film.
He elaborated that any sequel must elevate the original, promising a deadlier narrative for 'Kaabil 2'. This development aligns with Hrithik Roshan's own sentiments from early 2025, when he suggested 'Kaabil' was a strong candidate for a continuation.
Gupta's confirmation follows Hrithik Roshan's praise for Shahid Kapoor's performance in a recent release. Hrithik was last seen in 'War 2'.
