According to Soyou, she had asked one of the Korean flight attendants to look after her food and inform her about the menu options. This led to an altercation on the flight, and Soyou was even met by the staff manager. Throughout the lengthy journey, Soyou felt extremely uncomfortable and claimed the flight attendants did not treat her properly. In fact, she revealed that she did not consume any food during the entire flight.
After Soyou's public account of the incident, the airline has now issued a formal apology to the idol. In her own social media post, Soyou expressed gratitude to those who empathized with her experience and encouraged her to share her story. She also warned that she would take strict legal action against anyone spreading false or malicious information about the incident.
