On October 14, 2025, the K-pop group Close Your Eyes and their management agency announced that member Kenshin will be taking a break from all group activities until further notice. According to the statement, Kenshin recently visited a medical facility due to a sudden decline in his condition caused by flu-like symptoms and was diagnosed with shingles. He will be hospitalized for treatment and plans to return to activities once his health has improved.
The group will proceed with all of their scheduled activities as a 6-member team while Kenshin focuses on his recovery. Close Your Eyes debuted earlier this year in April with their EP 'Eternal' and has already managed to score their first-ever broadcast trophy. Fans are concerned for Kenshin's well-being and eagerly await his return to the group.
