Julia Roberts Leads Psychological Thriller 'After The Hunt' in Limited Release

As of October 10, 2025, several new films are making their way to theaters. The psychological thriller 'After The Hunt', starring Julia Roberts, has begun its rollout in select locations in New York and Los Angeles, including Alamo Drafthouse Brooklyn, Angelika, Lincoln Square, AMC Burbank, The Grove, and Century City. The film, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival and was the opening night selection at the New York Film Festival, follows a college professor who faces a personal and professional crisis when a student levels an accusation against one of her colleagues, and a dark secret from her past threatens to emerge.

Elsewhere, the Cannes-premiering film 'Urchin' starring Frank Dillane has opened in limited release in New York and Los Angeles. The drama, which is Certified Fresh at 96% on Rotten Tomatoes, follows a young man named Mike as he struggles to reintegrate into society while hustling to make ends meet on the streets of London.

Additionally, the Sundance-winning 'If I Had Legs I'd Kick You' featuring Rose Byrne's acclaimed performance has debuted on four screens in New York and Los Angeles. Byrne stars as a woman whose life is unraveling as she navigates her child's mysterious illness, her absent husband, a missing person, and a hostile relationship with her therapist, played by Conan O'Brien.
