Julia Louis-Dreyfus Makes Highly Anticipated Broadway Debut

Julia Louis-Dreyfus, an 11-time Emmy winner, is embarking on her first Broadway performance this fall in a revival of Jon Robin Baitz's "Other Desert Cities." The production will feature a notable cast including Ed Harris, Allison Janney, Lily Rabe, and Joe Keery.

The play centers on a politically connected family whose secrets are threatened when a daughter returns with a memoir. Previews are scheduled to commence on September 29, 2026, at Broadway's Hudson Theatre, with the official opening night set for October 18, 2026. This limited run is slated to conclude on January 17, 2027.

"Other Desert Cities" originally premiered on Broadway in 2011 and garnered five Tony nominations. The playwright, Baitz, noted that the play's themes of confronting the past and defining one's life remain strikingly relevant nearly two decades later.
