Filmmaker JT Mollner has officially signed with WME for representation across all areas. This move comes after the successful release of his latest film, "Strange Darling," which opened in August 2024. The movie achieved a remarkable 96% critical score on Rotten Tomatoes and secured accolades such as Best Thriller at the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films and the Grand People's Choice Award at Sitges.
Mollner's career includes adapting Stephen King's "The Long Walk" for Lionsgate. He is currently reteaming with Lionsgate to adapt and direct "The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon." Additionally, Mollner is slated to direct Brie Larson in the J.J. Abrams-produced creature feature "Skeletons" and is writing and helming the pilot for A24's television adaptation of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre." His debut feature, "Outlaws and Angels," premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2016.
