Michael B. Jordan's Directorial Comeback

Michael B. Jordan is stepping back into the director's chair for "The Thomas Crown Affair," slated for release on March 5, 2027. This project is particularly significant as it will be his first acting role following his Academy Award win and his directorial follow-up to "Creed III." Jordan will be directing and starring in the film, a feat he also accomplished in "Creed III."

Adria Arjona, who stars opposite Jordan, praised his directorial skills, noting his ability to seamlessly transition between directing and acting. While "Creed III" was filmed with a familiar cast, Jordan acknowledged that directing "The Thomas Crown Affair" presented new challenges due to being shot on location in London with a different crew and shorter working days.

Jordan emphasized that his take on "The Thomas Crown Affair" is a reimagining rather than a reboot. He has expressed significant investment in the project, having personally requested it from Amazon MGM. The film aims to capture the essence of the original "Thomas Crown" films, with Jordan drawing parallels to previous lead actors like Pierce Brosnan and Steve McQueen.
