Ramsey Murder Series Drops December 10th

Netflix will release "The Murder Of JonBenét Ramsey" on December 10th, 2026, marking the 30th anniversary of the six-year-old beauty queen's death. The streamer acquired the completed series from 101 Studios.

The limited series, co-written by Harrison Query and Tommy Wallach, is directed by Anne Sewitsky and showrun by Richard LaGravenese. It focuses on the unsolved murder case in Boulder, Colorado, and its aftermath.

Melissa McCarthy and Clive Owen portray Patsy and John Ramsey, respectively. The narrative unfolds through various viewpoints, encompassing the Ramsey family, investigators, and media coverage of the devastating event.

Executive producers include LaGravenese, Query, Wallach, McCarthy, Sewitsky, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, and David Hutkin. The cast features Emily Mitchell as JonBenét Ramsey and Garrett Hedlund as Det. Steve Thomas.
