Jon Stewart recently targeted Donald Trump on The Daily Show, criticizing his actions at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final. Stewart took issue with Trump's presence near the Spanish team during their trophy celebration, calling it an inappropriate intrusion on a moment meant for the players.
Stewart further lampooned Trump's post-match analysis, where the former president claimed the event was "four times greater than any FIFA ever held." Stewart questioned the arbitrary metric and suggested Trump's inflated ego led to him being surrounded by yes-men. The comedian also noted that Trump was booed by the 80,663 attendees at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium upon his arrival for the sold-out match.
