Joanna "JoJo" Levesque is set to star with Mike Colter in the upcoming Los Angeles-set drama-romance, 'The Very Thought of You.' The film, written and produced by John Zaring, is described as a soulful, jazz-infused love story.
Levesque will portray Emmy Davis, a former television talent show finalist whose life was impacted by past sexual abuse. Now 30, she works as a barista and cares for her grandmother. Her quiet life is disrupted when she meets a jazz pianist and college professor, played by Colter, who is a widowed father raising his daughter.
The narrative follows their journey as music brings them together, compelling them to confront their pasts and consider the possibility of a second chance at love. Both Levesque and Colter will also serve as executive producers on the project.
