Johnny Marr Drops Fiery New Track 'It's Time'

Johnny Marr, renowned Smiths guitarist, has released a new single titled "It's Time." This energetic rock song is the third preview from his upcoming album, 'The Age of Everything,' scheduled for release on October 2nd. Marr explained that "It's Time" conveys defiance through idealism, aiming to resist cynicism and corruption with its uplifting lyrics.

The accompanying music video for "It's Time" was filmed earlier this year during Marr's biggest headlining show of his solo career at Manchester's Castlefield Bowl. This new album, Marr's fifth studio effort, was written in London, developed during tours across the East Coast of the U.S., and recorded in Manchester.

Marr also announced an enhanced anniversary edition of his autobiography, 'Set the Boy Free,' due October 22nd. This edition includes previously unseen photographs, a new introduction, a eulogy for Andy Rourke, and a foreword by Noel Gallagher.
