Johnny Depp is set to embody Ebenezer Scrooge in the upcoming film 'Ebenezer,' a dark fantasy adaptation of Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol.' A newly released poster offers a glimpse of Depp in character, wearing a top hat amidst falling snow, with the tagline suggesting a story 'before he was Scrooge.'

Directed by Ti West, known for horror films, 'Ebenezer' is set in Victorian London. The narrative will explore the origins of the penny-pinching businessman before his spectral encounters. The film is scheduled for release in November.
