John Stamos' Son Offers Critiques and Catchphrases as Actor Prepares for New Role

As of October 2nd, 2025, actor John Stamos is preparing for a new role in the "Nightmare Before Christmas" production at the Hollywood Bowl. However, his son, Billy, has been providing some unsolicited feedback and commentary on Stamos' acting choices.

According to Stamos, Billy has been using famous catchphrases from "Full House," such as "You got it, dude" and "Have mercy," to mock his dad's performances. Stamos admits that while it's both "inspiring and annoying," he appreciates Billy's input, including suggestions to use a "higher, more charactery voice" for his role as Lock.

In addition to his acting work, Stamos has also been collaborating with former Guns N' Roses drummer Matt Sorum to help provide music education to students at the Rosewood STEM Magnet Elementary School in Los Angeles through the Adopt the Arts Foundation. This partnership, which also involves musician John Ondrasik, aims to ensure that music continues to play a meaningful role in the lives of young students.

Despite the playful banter with his son, Stamos remains focused on his upcoming performance and the important work he's doing to support music education in the community.
