John Oates Hosts Star-Studded Rock the Ryman

The second annual Rock the Ryman concert is scheduled for September 1st at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. This event highlights the synergistic relationship between rock & roll and country music, paying tribute to Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees who have previously performed at the venue. John Oates, a 2014 inductee himself, will host the festivities.

Attendees can expect performances by artists such as Wynonna, YOLA, Devon Allman, ROME, Sam Bush, and Spencer Sutherland, with more to be announced. Each performer will interpret music from Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees that have significantly impacted their musical journeys, underscoring the evolution of country music's influence on rock and its integration into Americana and modern country.

This concert is part of an ongoing partnership between the Ryman Auditorium and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, formalized by the Ryman's designation as a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Landmark in 2022. This collaboration also includes a permanent exhibit at the Ryman featuring memorabilia from Hall of Fame inductees. Tickets go on sale July 31st at 10 a.m. CT, with proceeds benefiting music preservation and educational programs at both institutions.
