WWE legend and actor John Cena is currently undergoing the second phase of his hair restoration treatment, a follicular unit extraction (FUE) procedure. He recently shared an update on social media, revealing a freshly shaved head while posing with his hair restoration specialist, Dr. Ken Anderson.

Cena, 49, admitted that repeated taunts from wrestling fans about his thinning hair led him to feel 'bullied.' This candid confession, made on 'The Pat McAfee Show' last year, spurred him to seek surgical hair replacement. He described the fan chants as 'straight-up bullying,' noting that this persistent criticism, combined with his genetic predisposition to hair loss, motivated his decision.

This is not Cena's first foray into hair restoration; he initially underwent a transplant in November 2024. Dr. Anderson praised Cena's commitment to the process and his long-term hair health. The actor, who officially retired from in-ring competition after his last match against Gunther, has not entirely ruled out a future wrestling appearance, stating that 'never' is a strong word and only extreme financial circumstances would bring him back.

Beyond his hair journey, Cena is actively pursuing his Hollywood career. His recent comedy film 'Little Brother' is currently a top performer on Netflix.
