Joey Valence & Brae recently delivered a synth-heavy, dance-rap interpretation of Amyl and The Sniffers' 2021 track "Security" during their appearance on triple j's Like A Version. The duo, currently touring behind their album HYPERYOUTH, reimagined the song with electronic production and booming low-end, departing significantly from its original pub-rock sound.

Brae noted that "Security" was chosen for its immediate energy, stating "As soon as you hear it, you want to bounce off the wall." This version draws from dance music and early rap cadences, reflecting the duo's own catalog. The original song appeared on Amyl and The Sniffers' breakthrough album Comfort To Me, which helped expand the Melbourne group's global profile.
