Jimmy Kimmel Back in Brooklyn for Epic 'Live!' Week

Jimmy Kimmel is set to host a week of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" shows from Brooklyn, New York, marking his eighth time broadcasting from the borough. These special episodes will be taped at the Howard Gilman Opera House at the Academy of Music.

The tapings are scheduled to take place from Monday, September 28, through Friday, October 2. While the lineup of guests for these Brooklyn shows has not yet been revealed, anticipation is building.

Kimmel's previous visits to Brooklyn have included notable moments, such as hosting Stephen Colbert. He first broadcast from the Academy of Music in 2012 and has returned regularly throughout the years.

This return to Brooklyn follows Kimmel's recent three-month hiatus from his usual Hollywood studio. During his break, various guest hosts filled in, and his return marked the 4,000th episode of "Live!"

Kimmel is also currently nominated for an outstanding variety series Emmy award. His former colleague, Stephen Colbert, has publicly supported Kimmel's nomination, encouraging Academy members to vote for him.
