In just a few days, Jimmy Kimmel's late-night show will be taking over Brooklyn for its 7th annual Brooklyn episodes. The popular host, who hails from the borough, is bringing his show to the Brooklyn Academy of Music's Howard Gilman Opera House from September 29 to October 3.
Kimmel has lined up an impressive guest list for the special Brooklyn run, including Stephen Colbert, Emily Blunt, Tom Hanks, Spike Lee, and Jeremy Allen White, who plays Bruce Springsteen in the new biopic "Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere." Springsteen himself is also set to appear as a guest. On the music front, the show will feature performances from Geese, Living Colour, Public Enemy, and Reneé Rapp.
Kimmel joked in his recent monologue that the show has to "stay on the move so the FCC can't get us" during the Brooklyn episodes. Normally airing four nights a week, the show will tape fresh episodes Monday through Friday for its Brooklyn takeover, which will then stream the next day on Hulu.
