Emily Mortimer's upcoming directorial debut, titled 'Dennis,' has added notable British talent to its ensemble. Jim Broadbent, Kelly Macdonald, and Jamie Demetriou are now set to star in the romance film.
'Dennis' will feature Alison Oliver as a British student and Yura Borisov, recently seen in 'Anora,' as a Russian poet. Their characters fall in love in Moscow during the 1990s. The project is written and directed by BAFTA-nominated Emily Mortimer, who previously worked on 'The Pursuit of Love' and 'Doll and Em.'
Production is underway with Emma Stone, Dave McCary, and Ali Herting producing for Fruit Tree, alongside Mortimer and her King Bee Productions partners. A24 is handling worldwide distribution and financing for the film, continuing its collaboration with Fruit Tree on various projects.
