Jill Wagner: From Wipeout Host to Spy Thriller Star

Jill Wagner has surprised audiences with her powerful performance in Taylor Sheridan's "Special Ops: Lioness." Many viewers recognize her from her diverse past roles, which range from hosting the hit game show "Wipeout" (2008-2014) to acting in "Teen Wolf" and numerous Hallmark Channel films. Her involvement in "Lioness" runs deep, as she also serves as an executive producer who helped develop the series.

Wagner's connection to the military inspired the show's concept. Raised in a Marine family and married to a former Army Major, she pitched the idea to Taylor Sheridan. The concept for "Lioness," inspired by real female operatives, took about five years to develop before becoming a successful streaming series.
