A recent episode of "The Five" featured Fox News host Jesse Watters making controversial statements about bisexual women. Watters claimed that men do not trust bisexual women and that their bisexuality is "not a turn on." He made these remarks in response to actress Milly Alcock's suggestion that her character, Supergirl, might "go both ways."
Watters further asserted that men would not watch the upcoming DC film and that bisexual women are "super weird." His comments, shared widely on social media, prompted significant backlash. Critics online questioned his narrow perspective and suggested his opinions were misinformed.
Alcock herself had not explicitly stated Supergirl is bisexual, only musing about the character's potential orientation in an interview. The film is scheduled for release on June 26, 2026.
