As of November 2, 2025, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, the 43-year-old Jersey Shore star, has made a triumphant return to his signature physique. After a fitness journey that saw him shed 30 lbs, Sorrentino is now back to flexing his famous abs, a feat he hasn't achieved since his early 20s.
Sorrentino revealed that he implemented a rigorous two-hour gym routine five days a week, along with a strict diet that cut out his Italian favorites like pasta and chicken cutlets. The reality star noted that the MTV production team was initially skeptical about his ability to regain his iconic abs, but he proved them wrong.
"I started telling production at MTV, 'I think I'm going to get 'The Situation' back. I'm putting in the work, I'm starting to look good.' And they were like, 'Yeah, okay,' " Sorrentino recalled. "Because I'm not a spring chicken. I'm not in my 20s anymore."
Sorrentino's transformation is all the more impressive given the challenges he has overcome, including battling an addiction to prescription painkillers and serving time in prison for tax evasion. Now, with his family, sobriety, and abs back, the reality star is celebrating his personal and physical evolution.
