Rosanna Scotto & Jerry O'Connell Test Talk Show

Jerry O'Connell will join Rosanna Scotto as a guest co-host on 'Good Day New York' next week. This collaboration is intended to test the waters for a potential daily talk show starring both Scotto and O'Connell, to be syndicated across the Fox Television Stations. This strategy mirrors a model previously used by the station group, which successfully launched 'The Wendy Williams Show'.

This trial run comes as the Fox stations are looking to fill a gap in their daytime lineup. O'Connell brings prior experience in daytime talk, having co-hosted 'The Talk' and frequently guest-hosted 'Live with Kelly and Mark'. Scotto is a well-established figure in New York television and has a national presence through her appearances on Fox News and Fox Business.

Notably, a previous test run for O'Connell's talk show in the summer of 2019 did not move forward. The current test aims to capitalize on the chemistry between Scotto and O'Connell, with the final hour of 'Good Day New York' being particularly suited for lighter lifestyle and celebrity content.
