Jeremy Renner Bounces Back After Near-Fatal Snowplow Accident, Gears Up for 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 4

In January 2023, actor Jeremy Renner, 54, was involved in a near-fatal snowplow accident while trying to save his nephew. The incident left Renner in a vulnerable state, but he has since made a remarkable recovery.

Renner returned to work on the Paramount+ series 'Mayor of Kingstown' season 3 the following year, and his co-star and executive producer Hugh Dillon, 62, says they had to "take care of him" when he came back to the set. Dillon explains that Renner was in a "vulnerable place" and they wanted to ensure he was happy and healthy, as this was "his life, not just work."

As Renner prepares for the premiere of 'Mayor of Kingstown' season 4 later this month, he reflects on his recovery process. He admits that he "was not in really great shape" when he first returned to work, but his co-workers supported him both physically and emotionally. Renner says he had to "lean on people" and they "took care of him" as he worked to get through the season.

Despite the challenges, Renner is now gearing up for the next chapter of the hit crime thriller series. His co-star Dillon had previously described Renner as having an "unstoppableness" that would see him push through and come out the other end, and it seems Renner has done just that.
