He explained that he was told Kardashian had requested a New York athlete for one of her reality shows.

According to Lin, this request was reportedly made to the Knicks, who then declined it without consulting him. The team was reportedly very protective of their young player at that time. While Lin is unsure of the rumor's exact origin, he confirmed that Kardashian is currently dating Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton.
