Jennifer Lopez has announced new music, with inspiration stemming from her twins leaving for college. She shared that this significant life change prompted her to return to the studio, resulting in some of her best-written songs, which she describes as joyous with a touch of sadness.
The first single from this new musical chapter is titled 'Proof of Love.' It will be featured as a bonus track on the first-ever vinyl edition of her 2011 album 'Love?.' Lopez views the song as a happy dance track exploring the duality of love, where pain and grief can serve as proof of its existence.
Following 'Proof of Love,' Lopez plans to release additional upbeat songs. The vinyl reissue of 'Love?,' her seventh studio album, includes three different versions and is available for pre-order starting October 28. This release aligns with the premiere of her concert film, 'The JLo Show: Live in Vegas,' which is scheduled to air on Thanksgiving night, November 26, on CBS and Paramount+.
