- Lopez says the decision "haunts" her and she doesn't know what she was thinking at the time

In a recent interview, Jennifer Lopez shared one of her biggest acting regrets – turning down the lead role in the 2002 erotic thriller Unfaithful. The film, directed by Adrian Lyne, ultimately starred Diane Lane, who received an Oscar nomination for her performance.
Lopez, now 56 years old, explained that she initially passed on the project because "the script wasn't good." However, she admitted that Lyne later "made it great." Reflecting on the missed opportunity, Lopez said the decision "haunts" her, as she doesn't understand what she was thinking at the time.
The actress and singer also opened up about her complicated love life, revealing that she has never truly felt loved. Lopez, who has been married four times, including to Ben Affleck, said she didn't love herself, which complicated her relationships. However, she sees her recent divorce as a positive turning point, as it prompted her to seek help and "figure this shit out."
Despite the regrets and challenges, Lopez remains focused on her career. Affleck, her former husband, recently praised her performance in the upcoming film Kiss of a Spider Woman, which he produced through his company, Artists Equity.
