LuckyChap, the production company behind "Barbie," is involved in producing "Nasty" alongside Ortega. Filming is slated to commence this fall. This film marks a new venture for Clockwork, a recently established specialty label at Warner Bros. formed by former Neon executives.
Byrne, an Oscar nominee for "If I Had Legs I'd Kick You," will also appear in the Peacock series "The Good Daughter." Ortega is set to feature in the sci-fi drama "Klara and the Sun" later this year. Bronstein and Jarosz are represented by prominent agencies.
Clockwork's slate also includes Sean Baker's post-"Anora" feature, "Ti Amo!," and a first-look deal with producer Chris Ferguson's Oddfellows studio.
