In a recent interview, Jenna Bush, the former first daughter, has disclosed a surprising incident from her college days. During her father George W. Bush's first term as president, Jenna was attending the University of Texas at Austin and briefly dated a football player there. However, she was embarrassed for the Secret Service, who were tasked with protecting her, to know about her new boyfriend.

"I would be kind of embarrassed -- and I hesitate even saying this," Jenna confessed on the October 23rd episode of Today. "But I dated a football player at Texas for a brief time. And I was embarrassed that the Secret Service would know that." Jenna further explained that she "just didn't want them to know I had a new boyfriend because senior year was active" for her.

The 43-year-old former first daughter also revealed that she had managed to escape from the Secret Service on occasion during this time. While Jenna did not provide further details, her admission sheds light on the challenges of maintaining a sense of privacy and independence while under the constant watch of the Secret Service.
