Jeff Probst, the iconic host of Survivor for 26 years, is celebrating the show's 50th season. Beyond his television career, Probst, 64, has found fulfillment as a father. He married Lisa Ann Russell, who brought two children, Michael and Ava, into their blended family. This co-parenting dynamic includes Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Russell's ex-husband, and his current wife.
Probst, originally from Wichita, Kansas, but raised in Washington, previously married Shelly Wright from 1996 to 2001. He met Lisa Ann Russell, a former model and actress from Sterling, Illinois, at a party hosted by Survivor producer Mark Burnett. They married in 2011 and reside in Los Angeles. Russell also had a brief acting career, appearing in Saved By The Bell: The College Years, where she met Gosselaar. They were married from 1996 to 2010.
Both Michael, now 22, and Ava, who will turn 20 this year, have spent time on the Survivor set, experiencing its international locations and Fiji base. Probst expressed his happiness in creating a loving family unit, stating that the children see him and his wife as additional parents. Before Lisa Ann, Probst dated Survivor alum Julie Berry from 2004 to 2008.
