Artist Jeff Koons has collaborated with luxury watch manufacturer Hublot to launch a new line of exclusive timepieces. This collection draws inspiration from Koons's renowned "Balloon Dog" sculptures, which have achieved significant auction prices, with one selling for $58.4 million in 2013 and another fetching $91.1 million in 2019. The watches incorporate distinctive features reminiscent of the sculptures, such as a colored rubber element at the 10:30 position and an "inflated" design on the crown.

Koons expressed his enthusiasm for the project, describing the creative process as joyful. He noted his deliberate choice to engage in this endeavor, indicating a deep satisfaction with the outcome. This venture into watchmaking follows his previous successful collaborations with high-profile fashion houses, including Louis Vuitton for a series of bags and Stella McCartney for a ready-to-wear capsule collection.
