Amy Berg's documentary, "It's Never Over, Jeff Buckley," is set to premiere internationally, beginning in January 2026. The film promises an in-depth exploration of the life and artistic journey of the late musician Jeff Buckley, who tragically passed away at age 30 after releasing his acclaimed debut album, Grace.
This compelling documentary draws from a wealth of never-before-seen archival footage from Buckley's personal collection. It also features intimate interviews with his mother, Mary Guibert, former partners Rebecca Moore and Joan Wasser, bandmates like Michael Tighe and Parker Kindred, and contemporaries such as Ben Harper and Aimee Mann.
Following acclaimed festival runs at Sundance and IDFA, the film's international distribution will be handled by Piece of Magic Entertainment and Universal Pictures Content Group. Territories confirmed for early 2026 include the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the UK, Ireland, Austria, and Germany, with more regions to be announced.
