Jeff Brazier Pulls Plug on Reality Show

Jeff Brazier has pulled out of a planned Osbournes-style fly-on-the-wall documentary show with his sons, Bobby and Freddy. ITV had expressed significant interest in the series, viewing it as a potential ratings winner. However, 'ongoing stress' within the Brazier clan, particularly with Freddy expecting a child, has led to Jeff's withdrawal, causing pre-production chaos.

Despite Jeff's exit, show producers hope that his sons, Bobby and Freddy, who are the children of the late reality star Jade Goody, will still participate. This could provide a platform for model Freddy and a new television role for former EastEnders actor Bobby. The series was intended to follow the family's domestic issues, including Jeff's recent split from his wife Kate Dwyer last November.

Freddy also recently separated from his pregnant girlfriend, Holly Swinburn. Jeff had previously taken steps to shield his sons from the public eye after Jade Goody's death in 2009, but has since been involved in disputes with Jade's mother, Jackiey Budden, over concerns about her influence on Freddy.

Jeff announced his separation from Kate Dwyer last month, citing a difficult year marked by fractured relations with Freddy. He expressed love and gratitude for Kate, emphasizing their mutual support over 12 years of marriage, though they ultimately decided to part ways. Kate reportedly still maintains contact to check on the boys, especially as Freddy prepares to become a father.
