The 9th edition of Jazz India Circuit concluded recently, having presented an immersive live experience across Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Gurugram throughout February 2026. Produced by Teamwork Arts, the festival focused on global artistic exchange and cross-cultural collaboration.
Internationally acclaimed drummer Benny Greb and his Brass Band headlined the circuit. The tour commenced in Bengaluru on February 4th, featuring local ensemble Derek & TheCats. Mumbai hosted the festival on February 5th, with Jazzafools joining Greb's band for an improvisation-driven jazz evening.
The Gurugram leg on February 7th and 8th emphasized experimental jazz. This included Acquaphonica by the Federica Colangelo Trio, which uniquely fused jazz with Carnatic percussion. The Circuit concluded in Gurugram with performances by The Blue Shirts and The Interstellar Ensemble.
