Jason Statham and Marvel's Pom Klementieff to Star in Beekeeper 2

As of October 1st, 2025, action star Jason Statham is gearing up to return as the expert assassin Adam Clay in the highly anticipated sequel, The Beekeeper 2. The film has just added two prominent new cast members to the mix.

Pom Klementieff, globally recognized for her portrayal of Mantis in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has joined the cast of The Beekeeper 2. Klementieff has also recently appeared in Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One and the upcoming Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning. Additionally, pro wrestler-turned-actor Adam Copeland, known for his roles in Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Vikings, and Haven, has signed on to the sequel.

The Beekeeper 2 is being directed by Timo Tjahjanto and written by Kurt Wimmer, who also penned the script for the first film. Statham's production company, Punch Palace Productions, is one of the producers for the sequel. While plot details have not been officially revealed, it has been confirmed that the film is currently in production, with no release date set as of yet.

The Beekeeper 2 follows the 2024 film, The Beekeeper, which was a box office success, earning over $162 million globally against a budget of around $40 million. The first film featured Statham as Adam Clay, an ex-government assassin who returns to action driven by a motive of revenge. Jeremy Irons, Jemma Redgrave, and Emmy Raver-Lampman are all set to reprise their roles from the original in the upcoming sequel.
