Jason Kelce has taken on a starring role in "The Last True Cold One," a new short film for Garage Beer, a brand he co-owns. The film, set in a scorching desert town with a Western theme, features Kelce seeking an ice-cold Garage Beer. He encounters resistance from a local villain, portrayed by former Eagles teammate Beau Allen.
Kelce's wife, Kylie, joins him in the film, playing the role of the town sheriff. Together, they devise a plan to overcome the adversaries and obtain the desired Garage Beer bottle. The creative team describes Kelce as their "creative madman," and he stated that the project reflects the brand's core values of fun and authenticity.
The short film, Garage Beer's third feature, was filmed in January at the Mescal Movie Set in Arizona. This initiative was inspired by Kelce's energetic personality and willingness to embrace new ideas, aiming to introduce the brand's new bottles. The bottles, available in a 355 ml size, offer a classic lager or lime flavor, with a 4% ABV and 95 calories, designed to be crisp and crushable.
Garage Beer CEO Andy Sauer noted that bottles are a crucial step for the brand, aligning with its premium image and the approaching summer season. Kelce, initially hesitant about the stubby bottle design, now agrees it was the right choice based on positive feedback. Since retiring in 2024, Kelce has remained active with his podcast, business ventures, and various partnerships.
