HGTV host Jasmine Roth is set to star in a new series, Roast My Rental, premiering Friday, July 24. In this upcoming show, Roth will collaborate with comedian Leslie Jones. Jones will lend her comedic talents to critique some of the nation's most rundown short-term rental properties.
Following Jones's humorous commentary, Roth and her team will step in to transform these spaces. Roth confirmed that she filmed the series during the end of her first trimester, which she found to be a helpful distraction from nausea. The couple is expecting their third child.
Some renovations will be simpler 'refreshes' to help property owners quickly return to earning income. However, Roth also noted that ambitious makeovers are part of the series. She managed her family commitments by commuting for the first three weeks, with her family joining her in California for the latter half of the six-week filming period.
