Following his global success with 'RRR', Tollywood star Ram Charan's film 'Peddi' has attracted international attention, notably from Japan. Two dedicated fans from Tokyo, Masami and Kris, embarked on a five-day trip to Hyderabad solely to experience 'Peddi' in cinemas. Arriving two days prior to the film's release, they aimed to fully embrace the theatrical debut and fan celebrations.
The enthusiastic fans revealed their plan to see 'Peddi' ten times during their visit, intending to watch it in both multiplexes and single-screen venues to witness varied audience responses. While 'Peddi' was initially expected to release in Japan, last-minute technical issues led to its cancellation there. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film stars Ram Charan as an elite sportsman and features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, alongside a supporting cast including Shiva Rajkumar and Boman Irani.
'Peddi' achieved a strong opening in India, grossing Rs 51 crore on its first day and reaching Rs 96.40 crore within two days. Globally, the film has surpassed the Rs 150 crore mark.
