The makers of the Tamil film Jana Nayagan have announced the upcoming release of six new scenes. Director H Vinoth revealed that these deleted segments will be made available to audiences next week. The bonus content includes two comedic, two action-oriented, and two emotional scenes featuring the lead actor, Vijay.
These deleted scenes will not be integrated into the current theatrical run of Jana Nayagan. Instead, they are slated for a direct release on the YouTube platform. This decision follows the film's substantial box office performance, where it garnered over 77 crore worldwide on its opening day and entered the 200-crore club globally within four days.
Previously, the film underwent recensoring and modifications after an online leak in April. The censor board mandated the muting of certain words, replacement of character names, and alteration of visuals related to national symbols and historical figures. Despite these challenges, Jana Nayagan achieved significant commercial success.
