Composer's Car Incident: A Case of Misjudgment?

Music composer James Vasanthan has offered a detailed clarification regarding an incident where his car's glass was damaged. The situation initially caused confusion due to his early social media posts. Vasanthan explained that he parked his car in what appeared to be an empty space covered by blue metal sheets, mistaking it for a vacant plot. He later discovered a house was situated further within the property.

Upon driving a short distance, they heard a strange sound and discovered the glass shattering. Initially, his wife thought the heat caused it, but Vasanthan suspected external damage. He confessed that his initial social media statements, particularly the wording used, led to misunderstandings and controversy. Following a police inquiry, it was confirmed the property owner caused the damage because the car was parked in front of their home. Vasanthan expressed regret for his misjudgment and emphasized the importance of carefulness, especially after prolonged media exposure.
