Authorities have arrested Michael Gledhill, 44, the son of Handy's girlfriend, in connection with the stabbing. Gledhill reportedly called the police himself, making a cryptic statement before officers arrived. Detectives believe the incident to be isolated and pose no further danger to the public.
Handy's career spanned decades, beginning in 1977 and amassing over 150 acting credits. He appeared in popular projects such as Jumanji, Arachnophobia, Beverly Hills, 90210, and most recently, Top Gun: Maverick, where he played the bartender Jimmy. An upcoming project titled Kickback was also in pre-production.
