Manchester band James has withdrawn from their headline set at the Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival. Frontman Tim Booth announced he has lost his voice due to a viral infection, making him unable to perform.
Festival producer Dougie Brown confirmed the cancellation was due to health reasons. He noted that it is rare for a headliner to be lost. In response, Razorlight has been invited to headline the main stage.
Scots singer Cammy Barnes will now fill Razorlight's previous spot on the main stage. Barnes, who performed earlier in the festival, was asked to step up due to his popularity. More than 20,000 music fans are anticipated at the festival, which runs from Thursday to Saturday near Beauly.
