James Bourne Health Update: 'Still Not Out of the Woods'

James Bourne, the 42-year-old musician from Busted, has shared an update on his health, revealing he is "still not out of the woods yet." This follows major surgery he underwent in April, which he stated was intended to "extend my life" and hopefully allow him to return to touring and making music.

Bourne had previously announced in September of last year that he was not in good enough health to perform on the Busted Vs McFly tour, stepping down to focus on medical matters. He has since been largely absent from social media, deleting his Instagram account earlier this year.

He now plans to post a more detailed account of his health situation via his Spotify bio, describing it as a "long story." Bourne expressed gratitude for the support and patience of his fans as he continues his recovery.
