Actor Jai will portray a home guard in director Sakthi Rajasekaran's upcoming investigative crime thriller. The film is designed to address a pressing social issue and chronicle the journey of a home guard solving a crime against considerable odds.
Director Sakthi Rajasekaran intentionally excluded songs and a female lead, stating the script did not require them. He sought collaborators who understood this creative choice, finding Jai to be receptive and recognizing it as a departure from his previous family drama roles.
