Jaime King's Secret Marriage Ends in Shock Divorce

Jaime King is now officially a single woman following the finalization of her divorce from Austin Sosa. A Los Angeles judge signed off on the dissolution of their marriage on Friday, October 2, 2026. The legal documents revealed that Sosa, King's ex-husband, has reserved his right to seek spousal support, while King will not receive any.

The couple, who married secretly in 2025, does not share any children. Sosa initiated the divorce proceedings in January 2026, filing for a default dissolution and stating irreconcilable differences. He listed their date of separation as November 11, 2025.

King publicly stated she was "blindsided" by Sosa's divorce filing, which came unexpectedly. She mentioned that despite facing normal marital challenges, she believed they were working on their relationship. Speculation arose about potential infidelity after King was seen with hotelier Vikram Chatwal around the time of the filing.

Addressing these rumors, King firmly clarified that her interactions with Chatwal were strictly professional business meetings and had no connection to her private divorce from Sosa. Prior to her marriage to Sosa, King was married to director Kyle Newman for 17 years, with whom she has two children. She finalized that divorce in 2023.
