6 Nov

Summary

Jailer 2 achieved Kollywood's highest-grossing third week.
The film earned 37.4 crore in its third week in India.
Total domestic earnings reached 467.3 crore net after 22 days.

Jailer 2 has achieved a landmark victory, recording the biggest third-week collection for any Kollywood film at the Indian box office. The movie earned 37.4 crore during its third week, a figure that surpasses its own predecessor, Jailer.

This remarkable achievement means Jailer 2 is now the first Tamil film to gross over 30 crore net in its third week. The action-comedy thriller, starring Rajinikanth, has garnered a total of 467.3 crore net in India after 22 days of its release on October 15, 2026.

Despite a significant drop in its fourth Thursday, earning 1.6 crore, the film's overall performance remains exceptionally strong. This dip was partly attributed to the release of the magnum opus Ramayana on November 5, 2026. The film's total gross collection stands at 551.43 crore.
