Jailer 2 Blasts Past ₹200 Cr Globally in 2 Days!

Jailer 2, starring Rajinikanth, has achieved a significant box office milestone, grossing ₹209.10 crore worldwide within its first two days of release. The film's impressive global performance was largely driven by robust overseas collections, which helped it surpass the ₹200 crore mark. This success was achieved despite a noted decline in domestic box office earnings on its second day, Friday, October 16, 2026.

On its second day, Jailer 2 garnered ₹35.60 crore in India net, bringing its cumulative domestic net collection to ₹95.30 crore. The film's total India gross stands at ₹112.10 crore, with overseas earnings reaching an impressive ₹97 crore. The Tamil version led the domestic box office on day two, followed by the Telugu and Hindi versions, indicating varied regional performance.

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures, Jailer 2 features an ensemble cast including Mohanlal, Vidya Balan, Ramya Krishnan, and SJ Suryah, with special appearances. The film's box office trajectory over the weekend will be a key indicator of its long-term success and ability to sustain its momentum after this strong start.
