Jailer 2 Box Office: Rajini's Film Roars Past ₹60 Crore Net!

Jailer 2, starring Rajinikanth, has achieved a remarkable opening at the Indian box office, with its initial performance netting over ₹60 crore. The film's momentum continued strongly into its second day, evidenced by advance bookings that grossed ₹15.24 crore.

Tamil Nadu emerged as the top-performing state, contributing ₹7.85 crore, followed by Kerala and Karnataka. Within cities, Chennai led the pack with ₹3.73 crore in advance sales.

Although the sequel experienced a decrease of over 3,800 shows compared to its opening day due to new film releases, its strong performance is anticipated to continue. Favorable word-of-mouth is expected to drive robust walk-in attendance for evening and night shows, solidifying another successful day for the film.
