Jailer 2 Shatters North American Box Office Records!

Jailer 2, starring Rajinikanth, has made a robust debut at the North American box office, earning over $2.06 million on its opening day. The film garnered $1.43 million from premiere shows and an additional $635K on its actual first day. This strong performance indicates a successful launch for the action-comedy thriller.

The United States led the earnings with $1.72 million, followed by Canada with $343K. The original Tamil version accounted for $1.74 million of the total earnings, with the Telugu version bringing in $321K. This linguistic popularity highlights the film's broad appeal.

With a revised breakeven target of $6.5 million in North America, Jailer 2 has impressively recovered 31.69% of this goal on its opening day. Positive audience feedback and strong weekend advance bookings suggest the film is on track to recover approximately 70% of its target within the first four days. Distributors are anticipating significant profits in the long run.

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures, Jailer 2 features an ensemble cast including SJ Suryah and Vidya Balan. The film was reportedly produced with a budget of 350 crore, further emphasizing the importance of its successful box office performance.
